Medically Integrated
Dispensary
Personalized Specialty Medication Support
Rheumatology Therapeutics Medical Center offers a Medically Integrated Dispensary, or MID, for patients receiving care through our California office.
Our team works closely with patients and providers to help coordinate specialty medications, insurance approvals, refills, financial assistance, and ongoing treatment support.
Â
How We Support You
Individualized Care
- Our specialty trained physicians, nurses, and MID staff work together to support your treatment and answer medication related questions.
Insurance and Financial Assistance
- We work with insurance companies to help obtain medication approvals and identify available assistance programs that may help reduce out of pocket costs.
Refill Coordination
- Our team will contact you before your refill date to coordinate your medication and review how your treatment is progressing.
Ongoing Medication Support
- RTMC physicians and nurses are available for questions related to your medications and condition, including after hours support.
Prescription Refills and Pickup
Your physician sends your prescription directly to our MID. Our team reviews insurance coverage, expected costs, and available assistance before coordinating your medication pickup.
Medication will only be released to you or someone you have authorized.
Please contact us if you need a refill, have questions about your medication, experience a possible reaction, have changes to your insurance information, or need help transferring a prescription.
Medication Safety
If you believe you are experiencing an adverse reaction, contact our office. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.
If you believe there is an error with your medication, dose, or instructions, contact our MID team immediately so we can review the issue.
Your Rights as a Patient
RTMC MID patients have the right to receive information about their care, understand applicable costs, participate in treatment decisions, have their health information protected, and voice concerns about the services they receive.
Patients are responsible for providing accurate medical and contact information and notifying our team when information changes.
